A Teacher And Headteacher: Elizabeth Doak is a primary school headteacher. She and her staff were the pioneers of the first PACT scheme in the large junior school of which she was then the headteacher.Iris Walkinshaw, headteacher of a large infant school, shows how PACT has become part of her school's way of life, as she and her staff endeavour to make the school an integral part of the surrounding community.
Tricia David has worked as a teacher and headteacher in nursery and primary schools, as a researcher, community educator, playgroup tutor, and teacher trainer. She is now a Professor of Education at Canterbury Christ Church University College, with particular reference to the early years. Tricia is currently chairing the Kent Nursery Partnership Training Subgroup and finds this exciting multi-professional mix contributes to her own reflection and development, as part of an international network of researchers in the early years field.
