Feudal Family Which: GONZAGA, gon-dza'ga, was the name of an Italian family that ruled Mantua from 1328 to 1708. After acquiring feudal estates near Mantua, the family amassed large holdings in northern Italy during the 12th and 13th centuries. It took its name from a castle between Mantua and Reggio. In 1328, Luigi Gonzaga overthrew the Bonaccolsi family and became lord of Mantua.
ROGUE, rog, river, Oregon, rising in the southwest part of the state near Crater Lake in Crater Lake National Park, from which it flows to the southwest and west through the Klamath Mountain to Grants Pass and on to the Pacific at Gold Beach.
