The book is concerned with all children of nursery and primary children age, with excursions into secondary age-groups, particularly where children have difficulties with their reading. However, we do not therefore think that this is the end of the story. We are getting indications that where parents have worked with teachers from the start of their children's schooling, there continue to be ways in which they want to help - and can help - even when they are unfamiliar with syllabus material.
